Voopoo Finic Review

Updated on: 2019-08-04

Conclusion

And that’s it, Insiders! That’s our pros and cons for the Finic 20 AIO. Let’s talk about this one a little bit. It’s a simple effective kit that gives you a nice flavor and clouds. Surprisingly, it’s not named Drag and it’s made by Voopoo and it actually works really well and it’s built well. I like the build quality on it, it’s definitely one of the better AIO kits on the market. Definitely better than that Drag Baby Trio, it’s definitely built a lot better than that. If you’re a beginner or if you need like some type of backup setup, this is definitely a viable option. Easy enough to keep in your bag for an emergency or something like that. I like it, I’ve been enjoying it, it’s a good little device.

Intro

Alright, Insiders! Today, we’re going to be going over the Voopoo Finic 20 AIO Kit. Big question is, is this one of the better AIO kits on the market right now? Make sure you stick around, watch the whole review, find out exactly what I think.

Before we get into the video, make sure you check out our new merch site. You can get my tagline on a shirt or a hoodie.

Quick Tour

Here is your Finic all-in-one kit. Nice design around there, I’m kind of digging the paint job. There’s your micro USB port for charging. It does have a 1500mAh battery. Here is your fire button right here, it is not drawer activated, you do have to push the button to vape. Don’t know if you could see it but there’s a little Voopoo branding over there as well. On the bottom, we have a little bit of venting and some Gene chip branding.

Voopoo Finic looks

Here is your tank section right here. You do get a spare glass for that tank section. This is your drip tip, you only get one. Now, here’s something interesting on this. See that right there? That’s your air flow, it’s on both sides, you can see it better there, but it’s non adjustable. There’s no adjustment to it, it just is what it is. Because of that little grading there, it is kind of smooth but I would have liked some sort of adjustment on it. There’s no adjustment whatsoever.

From Top To Bottom

Drip tip is proprietary, it doesn’t come off. I’ve tried pulling it off, it doesn’t come off, it just sits in there just like that. Here is your top cap portion right here. You unscrew it just like that, it reveals two rather small fill ports. Needle nose bottles need only apply, anything else just really won’t work. Threading between the top cap and the tank is actually pretty smooth. I mean, you can tell, it spins on pretty easily, pretty nicely, they did do a nice job on this.

Voopoo Finic top

This is the 0.6 ohm coil good for 16-25W. Both coils are pretty tiny. Nothing special here, just regular coils but they are tiny. Here is the 1.2 ohm coil, this is the more mouths to lungish type of coil, good for 8-12W. Again, nothing special, just really tiny, going to be very hard to prime, I will prime one for you on camera and show you, but these are just tiny, tiny coils so keep that in mind.

Voopoo Finic dis assemble

So let’s do a quick coil install. I’m taking the 0.6 ohm coil. I’m just going to put it in there just like that. Just screw it in until it doesn’t screw down no more but make sure it’s nice and secure. Once you got it all screwed in like that, take your juice. We’re going to be using Vape Wild’s So Very Good. I’m using 6mg because of the coil. What I like to do is I just like to put a drop or two right down the center, just like that. One, two, that’s it. Just to get it started, just go along the edges and paint the cotton slots. Just get them started so that juice will flow nice and evenly. Once you’re all done with that, you take your tank section and you just screw it on nice and easy. Make sure you give it a little bit of pressure when you do it because you want to make sure that o-ring seals. When it can’t go no more, now you’re ready to fill up on top. take your top cap off just like so, grab your juice bottle, stick it in one end just like that and just give it a squeeze. See it filling up nicely? Once it fills up all the way to the top, take your top cap, put it right back on there and now you’re all filled up and ready to vape.

Not a lot as far as I operation goes here. Five clicks, turns the mod on, hit the button and vape. That’s all we’re talking about here. No adjustable air flow, no different power modes, nothing like that, it is what it is.

Cons

So that’s it, Insiders! You saw everything up close and personal. Let’s get into them cons for the Finic 20 AIO.

First con is going to be, man, not digging that proprietary drip tip/top cap, it’s a con.

Capacity on this one at 2 ml is a bit on the light side, it’s a con.

I’m not crazy about the graphics on that, man. I don’t like like cartoony graphics on my stuff. Not because I think it’s child appealing, I don’t give a shit about that, I just prefer the solid colors. The good news is it does come in solid colors and you can buy it in solid colors. But I got to point out that I’m not crazy about the graphics.

And the last con is going to be, on such a nice device, they should have made this with adjustable air flow. There’s no adjustable air flow. It’s a restrictive type of DL hit. If you don’t like that type of hit, you basically shit out of luck.

But that’s it on the cons. Let’s move on to the pros because this one has some pros to it. It’s actually a nice little device.

Size Comparison

Wanted to give you a quick little size comparison. I don’t want to pull out the tanks for these. This is the Vaporesso Cascade, just the battery part and this is the Smok Stick V9. The only difference between these two is they actually have real 510s. This one doesn’t have a 510 connection, it’s a proprietary connection basically. But you can see, definitely much skinnier than the Stick V9, that’s for sure. Right along the same size as the Cascade, not much of a difference at all. Like I said though, this one does have a 510. So that’s some perspective as far as the size goes.

Voopoo Finic main size

Pros

First pro is going to be it’s small, its compact, it’s easy to carry, very, very pocketable, you can put it in a pocket or a bag, you’re good to go, it’s a pro.

It’s built well, man. I like the build quality on this thing. It’s got a nice solid feel to it, pro.

It fires fast, it’s simple, I get great battery life.

And so far, I’ve been getting some nice flavor and clouds. Let me show you what I’m working with. I got the 0.6 ohm coil in here. Check it out. Nice, right? Nothing wrong with that, man. Nice flavor, nice clouds for what it is.

And the last pro is going to be, this thing does have smooth airflow. Listen to it. Nothing wrong with that, man. The only problem with it is you can’t adjust it. On something like this, this should have been some type of adjustability. I don’t like the fact that you can’t adjust it. It just happens to be that this type of air flow is the type of airflow that i like. That may not be the case for you so I gotta point it out, kind of as a pro and a con.
