FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
Check out this tank. Nice looking tank. Nice and big looking with big bubble glass. You get a bubble glass spare, I like that. On top here, got one of those Smok style drip tips, 810 with the o-rings on the outside. Pop it back in, it’s a little on the snug side. There is your mark right there. This is a slider cap. It’s got a nice resistance to it but no lock. I do not like that. But it does have a pretty stiff resistance. I still wouldn’t trust it in my pocket. Bubble glass over here, huge. Look at that huge airflow. That’s a ton of airflow. Oh my God. stoppers on the airflow control ring. Whatever you adjust on one, happens on the other side. On the bottom, you can see, designed by Vaptio, gold-plated 510, insulator ring around that, stainless steel threading around that, there’s some Apolo branding.
In order to access your coil, twist the base off, just like so. Check out this monster coil. This is a triple mesh coil. Look at that beauty. Just look at it. This thing is huge. It’s a monster. This is a triple mesh coil, 0.15 ohms, good for 60-90W and I gotta be honest, I really want to meet the guy who’s responsible for printing on these coils because when I meet them, I want to slap them upside his head. Who the hell prints on the coil that small with all this real estate? Give me a freaking break. I need a microscope to see that print. It is getting ridiculous. Almost on every coil, I can’t see the print on it. I know I’m getting older but damn it, they could make this print a lot bigger, they really could. It’s really starting to get annoying. Now that I’ve calmed down, let’s go over the single mesh coil. That’s the big single mesh coil, 0.17 ohms, good for 50-70W. We’re going to prime up the triple mesh because you know that’s the way I roll.
The juice we’re going to be using today is Drip Lab, Bunny Blood. Basically a strawberry milk juice, one of them sell-out juices. But it’s fantastic. The first thing you want to do with a monster coil like this, you want to make sure you prime and don’t be cheap with the juice. Get some juice in there, get that coil all juiced up and primed. Then you want to hit the juice slots right there, hit them one by one. Get them going. Remember, this is a big coil. Don’t worry about it. This can handle the juice. Pour a few more drops in there, get it all nice and saturated. Now you want to take your coil, want to put it in, screw it on, just like so. Make sure it’s nice and tight. Find your mark right there, slide it open and start filling it up with that strawberry goodness. Once she’s all filled up, slide that top cap over, let it sit for a little bit, maybe give it a few dry poles before you put it on the mod.

Alright, Insiders! Let’s go over the cons and pros.
First, con’s going to be, I’m a little iffy on this con because I did reach out to Vaptio and I haven’t heard back from them yet. I find out, I’ll put it in the description. But it looks like these are proprietary coils. They did look familiar. I tried a couple of different coils and they did not fit so I want to make sure. I’m reaching out to Vaptio, haven’t heard from them yet. But if they are proprietary coils, that’s a con because distribution is going to be an issue with Vaptio stuff.
That slider-top cap, you guys know, I’m not a slider top cap guy. But if you are going to do a slider, you gotta put a locking system on it. One of those rings that you’ll lift or a button. This doesn’t have either. It’s a con.
And the last con is going to be, this thing only has a 5ml capacity and it rips through the juice. You’re going to feel like you’re constantly filling this thing up. It’s a con.
But that’s it on the cons, nothing really crazy. Let’s move on to the pros because we do have some pros.
The first pro’s going to be, thank you, Vaptio, spare bubble glass. Alright, Vaptio!
So far, I’m getting great flavor and clouds. Let me show you what I’m working with. I got it at 78W, the coil you saw me juiced up. Check it out. Pretty cloudy. The flavor is there, the flavor is full of saturation. I got a strawberry milk juice that I know very well. Not bad, just really nice flavor and the clouds are there as well. This thing’s got tons of airflow. If you cut down the airflow about halfway, the clouds get thicker, the clouds get denser, the flavor gets more intense. I like it with the airflow cut down about halfway.
It’s got decent build quality.
It’s got tons of airflow. You airflow hogs are going to love it.
I know I gave them a con on the top fill because it doesn’t have a lock on it but it is rather stiff. So I do want to point that out in the pros. It’s nice and stiff. I still wouldn’t trust it in a pocket, or bag, or something like that because you’re probably going to wind up with 5mls of juice all over the place. But I just wanted to point out, it does have a nice resistance to it, so that’s a pro even though it’s missing the locking feature.
So that’s it, Insiders. Those are my cons and pros. Let’s talk about this one a little bit.
The bottom line, it’s a very good sub-ohm tank. It’s no world-beater. It’s no Falcon beater. It’s no Fireluke beater, no Mesh Pro beater. But it’s a decent sub-ohm tank. Definitely better than average. The biggest question with this thing is going to be the coils. Are the coils proprietary, and if they are, what’s the distribution going to be like? Are you going to be able to get coils for this three months down the road, six months down the road? That’s a big question when it comes to companies like Vaptio that don’t have the greatest distribution. So just keep that in mind.
Let’s go over some of the specs on the Vaptio Apolo sub-ohm tank. It measures in at 27mm at the base, 58.4mm high. It has a 5ml capacity, 2 coils come in the box.
